This policy explains what data the Casefall: Whodunit Mysteries Android app
(com.progedify.solvemysteries) collects, why, and what choices you have. It is written to
describe what the app actually does — not a generic template.
In short: we do not ask for your name, email, or any account. Stories are stored on your device and can be read offline. The app shows ads, and our advertising partner (Google AdMob) collects some device data to serve them.
This app is published by Progedify. For any privacy question or request, contact cse.sadhan@gmail.com.
None that leaves your device. We operate no server and hold no user database.
| Data | Where it is stored | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Reading progress, favourites, finished stories and cases | Locally on your device only | So you can resume where you left off |
| Display settings (font size, theme) | Locally on your device only | To remember your preferences |
This data is never transmitted to us. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
The app displays ads through Google AdMob. To serve, measure, and prevent fraud in advertising, Google may collect and process:
This collection is performed by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. See also how Google uses data from apps that use its services.
This app is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It contains detective and mystery fiction involving fictional crimes and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has used this app and provided information, contact us and we will act on it.
The stories and cases in this app come from two sources:
All characters and events in the original fiction are invented. Any resemblance to real people is coincidental. If you find any story offensive or believe it infringes a copyright, please report it using the in-app report option or by emailing us, and we will review it.
We do not sell your data. We do not share data with anyone other than the advertising provider described in section 3, which receives it directly rather than through us.
We retain no user data, because we collect none. Data held by Google in connection with advertising is retained according to Google's own policies.
App data stays in your device's private application storage, protected by Android's own sandboxing. Because we operate no account system and no server, there is no account of yours for us to lose.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data about you, and to object to certain processing. Since we hold no personal data, such requests are usually best directed to Google for advertising data — see Google's data and privacy controls. You are welcome to contact us and we will help where we can.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a revised date above. Material changes affecting how data is handled will also be noted in the app's release notes.
