This policy explains what data the Goldly Android app
(com.progedify.goldly) collects, why, and what choices you have. It describes what the
app actually does, not a generic template.
In short: Goldly has no accounts and asks for no name, email or phone number. Your gold portfolio — what you own, what you paid and when — is stored only on your device and is never sent to us. Our server sees gold-price requests and, if you create a price alert, a random device identifier that is not linked to you. The app shows ads, and our advertising partner (Google AdMob) collects some device data to serve them.

The items you add under My Gold — name, category, purity, weight, purchase price, making charge, purchase date and notes — are stored in the app's own storage on your device. There is no account, no sign-in and no cloud sync. We cannot read this information, and we could not produce it if we were asked, because we never receive it.
If you uninstall the app or lose the device, that data is gone. Clearing the app's data also erases it.

The device identifier is generated randomly by the app on first use. It is not your advertising ID, not a hardware ID, and it contains nothing about you or your phone. If you create no alerts, the identifier is never sent anywhere.
Goldly is free and supported by ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process device information — including the advertising ID, IP address, and general interaction with ads — to serve and measure advertising. This is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app shows a consent form before any ad is requested, and you can change your choice at any time from the ad settings link in that form. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android's Settings → Privacy → Ads.
If you allow notifications, the app checks periodically for alerts you created that have been triggered, and shows them. You can turn notifications off in the app under More → Settings → Notifications, or in Android's app settings. No notification content is shared with anyone.
Goldly is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Because the app holds no account and no personal profile, most requests are things you can do yourself: delete a holding to remove it, delete an alert to remove it from our server, or clear the app's data to erase everything on the device. If you would like us to delete any alert data associated with your device identifier, email cse.sadhan@gmail.com from any address and include the identifier shown in the app.
Gold prices are supplied by third-party market-data providers under licence and are shown with their source and update time. Prices are indicative; a jeweller's counter rate may differ. Goldly is an information and calculation tool and is not investment advice.
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top will change and the updated policy will appear at this address before the change takes effect in the app.
